Team Escape is an escape room brand, located at multiple locations in Dresden and seems to be unexpectedly thriving and growing in this simple city that sometimes seems to be bustling with young energy and sometimes asleep or even shut down.

Review of The Hofman Formula

After mistakenly visiting the Katharinenstraße location, we hurried to Alaunstrasse 53 and were greeted by the kind little lady who gladly explained to us the standard, basic instructions that are always explained at escape rooms.

We refreshed a bit and readily became the team who needed to save humanity from a pathogen by finishing the work of Dr. Hofman, by concocting his antiserum. We entered his lab which is sabotaged and get on with getting access to locked laboratory doors.

Dr. Hofman's team of scientists is helping us in the process and we're solving puzzles and looking for clues and calculating and mapping the antiserum's formula. The room kind of swallows us and noble gases and atomic structures are taking us back to school. We're busy, running around, and having fun trying to find the right combination!

Review of The Treasure Huntress

We're transitioning into ghostbusters from being scientists and have to investigate the mystery at Marianne von Rothenburg's haunted mansion. The house is cursed and we're here to lift the curse and find our way out.

The house did seem a bit haunted and scary in the beginning but since we started to progress well in getting to the curse, it slowed a bit down. There was some unexpected double usage of clues, but there's always help from the gamemaster. The mystery was overall a pretty smooth and full experience for us.

And once we were out and all smiles, we had a nice chat with Romy, who was very receptive to the feedback we had and told us a bit about the structure of Team Escape at Dresden.
